It is Green, as he is known, that discovers that a wayward couple has unceremoniously entered his land from the wilds of West Virginia. |

The Jack of the Frost The Lord of the northernmost territory within the EverShade, The Jack of the Frost is a demi-god of much renown. Second son to the Solstice King and brother to The Jack in the Green, the ruler of all things winter is an imposing figure and enigmatic monarch. Clad in iron armor and deep furs, the man towers over all who call him Lord. It is said that cold winds blow incessantly through the mountain passes of The Winterwild before finding their home within his frozen heart. |

Grace Steele The matriarch of Beaver Hollow and Mark Steel’s grandmother, Grace is the epitome of a woman who will offer a person a listening ear and no-nonsense advice in equal measure. No one knows the comings and goings like Grace and her door is always open to anyone who knocks. Although not related to Tess McCoy, the elderly woman calls the prodigal girl her daughter. Grace keeps Tess and Mark close but her secrets closer. |

Elijah An anthropomorphic hedgehog living within the Greenwood, Elijah has been practicing medicine for over 4000 years. The small physician is one of the first constructs formed by The Jack of the Green and serves his master with unwavering loyalty. How such a small timid beast could change the course of history is anyone’s guess. |

Gideon Gideon is the Captain of the Winter Guard and holds a place of honor within the sacred halls of Snowden, the capital of The Winterwild. He is known for a quick temper and a quicker blade. That said, the man is a steadfast confidant to the Jack of the Frost—there is no one in the northernmost reaches of the EverShade whom the Lord of Winter trusts more with his tomorrows or yesterdays. |
